The French Coat Is Back

The French Coat Is Back After Having a 10,000-Person Waiting List

There are a few wardrobe staples you buy, knowing full well that they’ll remain key items in your closet for years and years to come. A perfectly cut black blazer, a timeless designer handbag and of course, a sleek beige trench coat are just a few examples. And though we’d happily spend an innumerable amount of time searching for each of those timeless products, French fashion label Sézane might have just made the task a little easier when it comes to tracking down the perfect trench.

Last summer, the brand released its first-ever trenchcoat and simultaneously garnered a 10,000 person waitlist. The item was made from organic cotton in a factory within the EU and featured a classic double-breasted button style and silhouette cinching waist belt.

Luckily for us, despite its sell-out status, the brand has just re-released the item after (presumably) much customer demand. The £215 coat landed on Sezane’s website just this morning, though if last summer was any indication, we expect that it won’t last long. Keep scrolling to shop the highly-coveted item.
